Terms of Service

• A platform. CopperMain publishes educational plumbing content and operates a request flow that matches homeowner and business requests with independent service professionals.
• Not the contractor. CopperMain does not perform plumbing work, does not employ the professionals, and is not a party to any contract for work. Any agreement for services is directly between you and the provider you engage.
• Verification, not endorsement. Providers enter matching only after license and insurance verification against the issuing sources. Verification is a documented check at a point in time; it is not a promise about the outcome of any particular job.

• What submitting means. You ask CopperMain to record your request and match it with independent providers covering your area, and you consent to being contacted about it as stated on the form.
• Honest coverage. Submitting a request does not create an obligation that a provider exists for your area or will accept the job. Where no verified provider covers an area, that is the answer given.
• Accuracy. You agree to describe the problem and your contact details accurately; requests that misuse the form may be discarded.
• Current status. Provider integrations are not yet active: requests are recorded and held by CopperMain as described in the Privacy Policy, and no request has been passed to a third party.

The educational pages describe how plumbing work generally goes in U.S. practice. They are not a diagnosis of your specific system, and they are not a substitute for an on-site professional assessment. For situations involving active water, sewage or gas, treat safety steps (shutting the main, leaving the area for gas odor) as the priority; see what counts as an emergency.

• As-is. The site and the request flow are provided as-is and as-available, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows.
• Provider work. Responsibility for the performance, quality, safety and legality of plumbing work lies with the independent provider you engage. Concerns about a provider can be reported through the request form (start the description with “Provider concern”) and affect their standing in matching.
• Liability limits. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CopperMain's liability arising from use of the site or the request flow is limited.

• Acceptable use. No scraping at abusive volume, no false requests, no interference with the form or its protections.
• Intellectual property. Site content belongs to the operator of CopperMain and may be used for personal, non-commercial reference with attribution. Trademarks referenced in content belong to their owners.
• Changes. These terms may be updated; the current version is always at this address. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the updated terms.
