Content Methodology

Every page on this site is produced by one documented process. This page describes it.

1. One page, one job

The service catalog follows a curated taxonomy built before any page was written. Each topic was reviewed for whether it deserves its own page or belongs inside another; several hundred candidate topics were merged or excluded so that every published page owns a distinct question. When two pages could compete for the same search intent, one of them was removed or given a deliberately different scope.

2. Real demand data

Page structure is grounded in keyword-level search data collected through the Google Ads API (tens of thousands of real US plumbing queries with volume and intent classification). Pages exist because people ask the questions they answer, and their sections mirror how those questions are actually phrased.

3. Source-grounded drafting

  • Technical accuracy: drafting references manufacturer documentation, public guidance from bodies such as the EPA, and standard US plumbing practice.
  • Jurisdiction honesty: plumbing codes, permits and test values vary by state and locality. Where a number depends on local rules (gas test pressures, septic pumping intervals, backflow requirements), the page says so instead of publishing a false universal.
  • Boundary statements: each page names what its service cannot fix and links the page that can. That includes telling you when the cheaper fix is the right fix.

4. Automated verification

Every build of this site runs automated checks before any page can be published: a claim filter that blocks unverified marketing statements (availability promises, response times, licensing language, pricing), a cross-page uniqueness check that compares every pair of pages for duplicated text, and link and metadata validation. A page that fails any check does not ship.

5. Review status

Pages carry an internal status and are published only after passing review. A professional review program (named reviewers with verified plumbing credentials) is planned alongside our provider network and will be documented here when it is live. We do not publish fictional author personas or fabricated credentials, ever.
